Why Melaleuca Rocks!

I wanted to share a little more today about what makes Melaleuca different from all the other multi-level marketing companies out there.  First I'll tell you the few similarities.  The first one is that you build a business by sharing the company with the people you know or meet that might have an interest in the products (which is just about everyone).  Second you grow you business by placing people "down line" in your organization. Third is that we are a home based business so people just assume that it is a MLM.   That is really where the similarities end.

The biggest difference between Melaleuca and all the competition is this: Melaleuca is completely consumer driven while the others are recruiting driven. What this means is that in Melaleuca we focus on getting customers first and foremost. People benefit from using the products, and we all want everyone we care about to use a safer more affordable product. In the competition you have to find business builders right away and everyone you talk to you want to convince to build the business. Most of the time it does not make sense to do those other businesses unless you are going to build. With Melaleuca if they want to build a business that is great but if they just want to be a customer that is just as great. What tends to happen also is that many people after using the great products for a few months end up referring at least a few of their family or friends. This difference is very easy to demonstrate by the numbers: 88% of the people who join Melaleuca are strictly customers, less that 12% build a full or part-time business. Also, Melaleuca has a 95% documented re-order rate. (This is unheard of in the traditional MLM companies). What this tells me is that the products really work, they really are less expensive, and that people really love using them. Traditional MLMs have huge attrition rates. Many juice companies for instance experience 200%-300% attrition, and many companies experience low monthly reorder rates ranging from 12%-66%.

Another big difference between Melaleuca and the competition is the amount of money that it costs to actually join. Melaleuca has a very low membership fee of $29.00 which gets you not only membership, but preferred customer status, which saves you 35%-40% off of the regular retail price on over 300 fantastic products that they offer. Other MLM companies can be anywhere from $500, $1500 to multiple thousands of dollars just to join the business opportunity and you usually get nothing but a spot in the organization.

Well those are a couple of the things that sets Melaleuca apart from the competition. I'm convinced that this really is the best opportunity out there.
